Fabián Furman, 30, the eldest among three brothers and a River Plate fan in a family of Boca Juniors supporters, had recently married Bibiana and was hard at work renovating their new home. Employed by the AMIA Burials Department, he also drove a taxi after his day job. On July 18, 1994, after sharing a morning coffee with his brother Adrián at AMIA, a car bomb exploded at 9:53 a.m., taking Fabián's life. Adrián, however, survived, escaping from their office on the second floor.
