Mirta Strier, 42, stood as the resilient backbone of her family, being the sole breadwinner for her children, Gaston, Gabriel, and Matías, who were her entire world. Despite the daily hustle with three children, she found moments to enjoy a cup of black coffee without sugar. Mirta served as the secretary at AMIA’s Marc Turkow Center, deeply committed to its mission of documenting and disseminating the history of the Argentine Jewish community. 1994 was a special year as AMIA celebrated its 100th anniversary, with Mirta involved in several centennial projects. On July 18, 1994, she was working at the Pasteur building when the bombing occurred. Mirta was in a second-floor office and tragically became trapped in the debris
