Married to Fabián, whom she met through a friend, Marta cherished traveling and exploring new places with him. On the morning of July 18, 1994, as Marta was attending to individuals seeking financial, medical, and social assistance at her office, a car bomb exploded at the AMIA building, ending her life and affecting many others.
